Crisis Response Team
Purpose: Provide collaborative crisis-related services for all individuals/families experiencing suicidal thoughts, behaviors, or a death by suicide.
Services: Counseling services (individual, group, or family), assistance with access to in-patient or stabilization services, Traditional services, Faith-based services, Postvention and grief counseling services, or assistance with Involuntary Commitment application.
Volunteerism Requirements:
- Complete Crisis Response Team Volunteerism Application
- Complete Background Check (Navajo Nation & County)
- Complete required crisis-related trainings: Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR); Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST); Mental Health First Aid (MHFA); safeTALK; Postvention
- Provide volunteer crisis-related services collaboratively with other team members, Public Safety/First Responders, and other local organizations, agencies, & programs
